6315: Millard Education Program - Use of Assessment Data

The Millard School District shall assess the progress of students through a district-wide assessment system. Such an assessment system shall provide for a fair and adequate measurement of each student’s progress and achievement. The information provided by the assessment system shall be used by the Millard Board of Education and district staff to evaluate the progress of students; differentiate instructional strategies; adjust district curriculum; and plan and provide interventions and appropriate support experiences for students.Ìý

Essential learner outcome assessments will be valid, reliable, and aligned with the curriculum and outcomes in reading, writing, mathematics, and science. The District will allocate resources to support continued student progress.
